A lot has happened over the past six months. We celebrated birthdays, basked in the summer heat, frolicked on beaches and watched the leaves change as the weather shifted into my favorite season. Thanksgiving came and went as fast as the night, and as the days got colder, we welcomed Halloween; then came a trip to Las Vegas where Shaun and I embraced relaxation and took a road trip to witness the most breathtaking sunset over the Grand Canyon. The holiday season brought immense spirit, holiday traditions, treats, and Christmas light drives enjoyed between sips of hot cocoa.
The first month of the year has seen new routines as I started a new job, Jaiden started soccer and Nova started walking. Our new reality has been embracing the chaos as it comes. Whether it’s Jaiden’s endless energy and questions, or Nova’s fierce determination and independence. Their vastly different personalities have become more apparent, as well as their interests.
We have welcomed 2024 whole heartedly and are hoping for more adventures, chaos, and spontaneity that inevitably comes with having kids. So stay tuned for insights and escapades as we navigate the year ahead with two fierce toddlers.
